Ranch Church Staff

Rick and Jane Soto planted The Ranch Church in 2007, and both served as missionaries before Rick transitioned into Pastoral ministry, and Jane into motherhood. Both have had the pleasure of speaking at various conferences, at home and abroad.

Pastor Rick is a gifted Bible teacher who enjoys a good laugh. He blogs frequently on his website simplebiblecommentary.com, and is the author of one book.

Rick graduated from San Diego State University, and Jane from Cal. They live in Solvang with their four sons.

Casey and Angie Corum joined the staff of The Ranch Church in August of 2019 where Casey Corum serves as the worship pastor. Additionally, Casey has worked for many years as a songwriter, worship leader, and record producer. Casey is best known for his work with Vineyard Music having served as Chief Creative Officer for over 10 years. Casey’s songs have been sung in thousands of churches all over the world in numerous languages. Some of his best known songs include “Dwell”, “Form Us”, No Longer Strangers”, and “You Have Set Me Free”.

When not at TRC, Casey travels extensively working with artists, churches, and creative leaders on the stage and in the studio.

Richard (Dr D) and his wife Randi have attended The Ranch Church since 2021. Both have roots in the Calvary Chapel movement dating back to the early 1970s.

As dean of the Ranch Church School of the Ministry, he has helped develop its current curriculum. Dr D has a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and helping equip believers for Christian ministry. He has taught evangelism for many years in local churches, and overseas as an instructor through Calvary Chapel Bible College. He has participated in short-term missionary work in Germany, Ireland, Japan, and Indonesia.

Dr D is a past trustee of Westmont College. Also, for several years, he was on the board of Santa Barbara Sending, a missionary sending organization that organized and sponsored mission conferences at Westmont. From 2021-25 he was involved with the Billly Graham Evangelistic Association as a regional prayer coordinator for churches in the US 24^th congressional district (parts of SanLuis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties).

Dr D, in private practice since 1983, received his undergrad degree in biological sciences, his MD, and  internal medicine specialty training at UC Irvine.

Dr D and Randi have two wonderful married children and one grandchild.
